VALE, SLOUGH Over the last three years, Arbour Vale School has been developing video-conferencing as a learning tool. An international directory of schools and other establishments that are willing to provide lectures or take part in discussion groups has enabled Arbour Vale and neighbouring schools to 'talk' to schools in France and Italy, as well as listen to experts talking from Athens, California and Japan. The school feels that SEN pupils in particular respond well to the interactive style and the 'reality' of the experience. |
