QUEENÕS INCLOSURE PRIMARY SCHOOL, WATERLOOVILLE, HAMPSHIRE
This primary school has a very simple rectangular plan. Classrooms are arranged along the north side, offices, hall, cloakrooms on the south. Running down the centre, opening from and overlapping with a central circulation route (and lit by a central rooflight) are alternating quiet enclosed spaces and open resource areas. These provide supplementary space to the class bases. They are attractive well-used areas. The central library and ICT centre is easily accessible from this central area.
