WATERSIDE CENTRE, HILLINGDON The building was built in 1998 as British Airways' head office. It was designed as an office of the future with 'hot desking' and minimal paper use. Staff are encouraged to use the cafes in this central street where informal meetings and individual working take place throughout the day. It is attractive, with natural finishes evoking an external environment flooded with daylight. Such an approach is influencing modern school design. |
