A glazed three-storey 'street' runs the length of the building. As well as being the main circulation route, it provides an attractive place for informal work and recreation, full of plants and with views of ponds outside. The street also has environmental benefits as south-facing glazing contributes heating through passive solar energy. The plants provide shade and oxygen.
