Description: Talking Heads is a pilot project for the Virtual College
of School Leadership, researching how best to generate online
communities of practise for new heads of schools.
Main finding: Experts and policy makers in the Hotseat are learning
from the front line by engaging in frank discussions with experienced
practitioners on crucial educational issues. We will also learn how
to extend and sustain the welcoming and personalised character of the
communities and to optimise the effectiveness of the extensive
knowledge base being generated by the participants.
