About Phase 3

The aim of phase 3 is to investigate the educational place (or otherwise) of mobile, pocket sized and wireless devices. Those devices choosen will work on WAP (Wireless Application Protocols).

This is cutting edge technology (many of the devices were not released in UK at the start of phase 3). The period between September 1999 and January 2000 was spent in planning the introduction of such technology into the school context.
