Co-ordinating conjunctions

As the term suggests, a Co-ordinating conjunction joins words, phrases or clauses together, without affecting the word order.

There are four co-ordinating conjunctions in German + the entweder ... oder combination.

Spot the conjunctions in the lines below, noting the position of the Verbs (in bold).
Then complete the table.

Learn the co-ordinating conjunctions - all the rest are subordinating! We've started a list of them below, followed by examples of use.

Look at the examples, noting the position of the Verbs (in bold) and then complete the list. Add more conjunctions and examples, as you meet them
