Herr Krüger does most things right and is considerate of his client's welfare. Though his keenness to demonstrate his own good manners might seem a little 'over the top', many would consider this approach to be good form.

Germans relish the cut and thrust of a good debate. Frau Sommer was quite tactful when stemming the tide of Herr Krüger's argument but it's not unusual for people to energetically propound opinion - it's all part of the fun.
Drinking manners
Herr Krüger overindulges on the cognac. On the whole Germans avoid becoming inebriated when out with colleagues.
